Leading Our Pond Maintenance Division
Atzin Castellanos is Jorge and Carmen’s son, but being part of the family is not the reason he holds an important position at Aquascape Creations. Atzin has earned his role through years of hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and his ability to analyze and solve problems.
He now leads our pond maintenance division, helping ensure that our clients’ ponds and water features remain clean, healthy, and operating properly.
Growing Up in the Green Industry
Atzin’s experience in the green industry began at an early age. While we were growing our landscaping company in New York, he regularly joined us on weekends, during summers, and whenever he had time away from school.
What started as a child helping the family business gradually developed into years of practical experience. Atzin learned the value of hard work, responsibility, and completing each task correctly. He also gained an understanding of landscaping, outdoor construction, water features, and the effort required to serve clients professionally.
His knowledge did not come from simply being around the business. It came from doing the work, learning through experience, and becoming someone the company can depend on.
An Artistic and Analytical Problem-Solver
Atzin has always had a love for art, which gives him a natural appreciation for the creative side of ponds and water features. At the same time, he has a highly analytical mind and is especially skilled at identifying problems and determining practical solutions.
These abilities are valuable in pond maintenance, where every service visit can present a different challenge. Pumps, filtration systems, plumbing, water quality, aquatic plants, and other pond components must work together properly. Atzin’s patience and attention to detail help him troubleshoot issues and complete the work each pond requires.
Leading Our Pond Maintenance Division
Atzin has taken on the responsibility of running the Aquascape Creations maintenance division. In this role, he helps care for our clients’ koi ponds, waterfalls, fountains, recreation ponds, and other water features throughout the Bay Area.
He may be quiet when you first meet him, but once you get to know him, his passion and commitment become clear. He understands our standards and shares our belief that every client’s property should be treated with care and respect.
One of Atzin’s strongest qualities is his willingness to do whatever is needed to complete the job properly. He does not shy away from difficult or demanding tasks and can be relied upon to help solve unexpected problems.
